Celotex

Celotex Corporation was founded in 1921 by Bror G. Dahlberg. Dahlberg and a group of technicians developed a product made from Bagasse cane fiber, and found it ideal for a sturdy, structurally strong fiber board. They called the new product "Celotex." The first factory was established outside of New Orleans, where during August 1921, "The Largest Board in the World" was produced. Today, Celotex has established itself as a world class manufacturer of high performance mineral fiber acoustical ceilings, rigid foam insulation and gypsum wallboard.

Being an indoor use product, it is shipped in cartons, boxes and plastic wraps in box cars.
